Ujung Menteng UP PKB Disinfected by East Jakarta PMI Today

As many as 6 East Jakarta PMI personnel sprayed all areas at Ujung Menteng Motor Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB), Cakung, with disinfectant.

Disinfectant spraying is carried out to respond quickly request from Ujung Menteng UP PKB

East Jakarta PMI Public Relation and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian stated, disinfectant spraying was carried out to follow up request from Ujung Menteng UP PKB.

For this spraying, his side deployed 6 personnel, 3 electric sprayers with capacity 16 liters, and 1 unit sprayer fleet.

KIR Service at Ujung Menteng UP PKB Temporarily Diverted to Other Units

East Jakarta PMI personnel sprayed all areas of Ujung Menteng UP PKB, starting from lobby area, service room, waiting room, office area for managers and staffs, meeting room, canteen, security post, main entrance gate, to vehicle testing area and mechanical test lane.  

"Disinfectant spraying is carried out to respond quickly request from Ujung Menteng UP PKB. Our principle is to follow up every request thus COVID-19 spread can be minimized as much as possible," he asserted.

Ujung Menteng UP PKB Unit Head, Suratman conveyed, disinfectant spraying was conducted to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Moreover, recently number of his employees exposed to COVID-19 has increased from 8 to 12 people.

Currently all employees, both ASN and PJLP are working at home (WFH). While motor vehicle testing service had been diverted to Pulogadung, Cilincing, and Kedaung Angke UP PKB Units since Tuesday (12/29).

According to him, disinfectant spraying is planned to be carried out on Wednesday (12/30), then continued on January 2 and 9, 2021.

"Previously we have conducted disinfectant spraying independently. It is to prevent COVID-19 spread. Moreover, now 12 employees are exposed to COVID-19," he explained.
